This week Bob and Pat talk with Adeo Ressi, creator of the Founder Institute (FI), a unique four-month apprenticeship and training program for startup founders running in multiple cities. Adeo shares FI’s approach to recruiting startups that results in a 75% success rate, answers questions about how FI works and has some excellent advice for startups.

Bob, Thanks for doing this interview – I just finished applying to the San Diego/Orange County Founders Institute for Fall 2010, and if it wasn’t for your podcast I never would have known about it. There’s a great video of Adeo speaking to a group of applicants last November ( – he goes into much more detail about the program, their model and philosophy, and there’s a great Q&A at the end. Thanks again.
