The Startup Success Podcast

Bob and Pat interview Maria Ly, co-founder of Skimble, an iPhone app for tracking and sharing all your sports activities (from rockclimbing to yoga and everything in between). Maria shares her experience as an Apple iPhone developer, how she and her partner and co-founder Gabriel Vanrenen make a business and personal relationship work, and lots more.

And Pat interviews Rafael Rivera and Long Zheng about their project, Geosense for Windows, a free Windows Sensor providing the Location and Sensors platform in Windows 7 with accurate and reasonably ubiquitous positioning information without requiring or the assistance of GPS hardware, enabling more practical location-based applications and scenarios on Windows 7.

How does it work? “We employ thousands of pigeons around the world to stalk our users with the promise of breadcrumbs.” – no, not really, but you’ll have to listen to the podcast to hear how these guys pull off this bit of techno-magic.
