The Startup Success Podcast

In show #18 Bob and Pat talk to Patrick Lightbody, founder of, a cloud-based web site performance and load testing company. Need 2,500 actual browsers running Selenium test scripts to pound on your server but don’t want to buy 2,500 boxes for about $1 million? Patrick’s Amazon Web Services-based service can do the job for $500.

Bob has a tip for those ready to go the next step with social networks, Pat has some advice for startups looking at what Windows 7 will offer, and Bob recommends a low-cost way of getting at least your product’s starter logo.

As you might have noticed, our 8-day weeks finally caught up with us and there was no show last week. We’ll try to avoid that in the future.
